RIVERFEST 2010 ADAGIO dancers will be performing Sunday, August 1, 2010 Jackson Street Stage (Farmer’s Market area) REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:
9:00 – 9:20 – Kinder Ballet “Thank Heaven For Little Girls”
9:20 – 9:40 – PreK Ballet “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo”
9:40 – 10:00 – 4-6 Tap “Little Bird”
10:00 – 10:20 – PreK Tap “Never Fully Dressed”
10:20 – 10:40 – 1-3 Hip Hop “Big and Chunky”
10:40 – 11:00 – PreK Tap “Limbo Rock”
11:00 – 11:20 – HS Hip Hop “Black Gloves” Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time and wear leotard and tights.
RIVERFEST PERFORMANCE is 3:30 – 4:15.
Kinder Ballet is first and needs to arrive by 3:15 to line up. All other dances will follow and will go in the same order as the rehearsal. Please arrive in your costume with hair and makeup done. Make sure to use the restroom before your performance!

Wednesday, July 28th – Arrive at 8:30 in leotard and tights with hair and makeup done. Go to your dressing room at OHS. Info will be posted at OHS. Pre-K and Kindergarten dancers need to dress in costumes. Parents and dancers need to meet @ 8:45 in the auditorium for DANCERS’ MEETING. Dress Rehearsal Schedule: 9:00 – 9:15 – Limbo Rock 9:15 – 9:30 – Never Fully Dressed 9:30 – 9:45 – Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo (Please note there will be rehearsal at Adagio on Friday, July 30 @ 4:30) 9:45 – 10:00 – Thank Heaven For Little Girls **These performers may leave after they dance. Tech and Dress Rehearsal Schedule for Grades 1 – HS All dancers need to arrive @ 8:30 at OHS dressed in leotards and/or tights with hair and makeup done. Parents and guardians must be present at the DANCERS’ MEETING @ 8:45 at OHS. Tech rehearsal will run in show order from 10:00 – 11:30. Dress rehearsal will follow that in the same order from 11:30 – 1:00. August 2, 3, 4, 5 – Rehearsals will be held at OHS during the day. Times will be handed out soon. |

Adagio will be officially moving to 302 West Main Street in Ottawa on May 1st. All classes will transfer to the new building! We couldn't be more excited to expand and grow! Thank you for all of the support and help! xoxo |

We are so HAPPY and EXCITED to annouce, drum roll please! ADAGIO WILL BE EXPANDING ITS BUSINESS TO A NEW HOME! Our dance family has grown so quickly that we want to ensure its dancers have the best facility to further their dance studies. The new space will have state of the art floors, equiptment, mirrors, waiting room, view room and two HUGE dance floors! The move will happen in April and we'll slide right into summer session. The last day of spring session is May 31st. Summer session, rehearsals for Summer Dance Festival will begin June 1st, 2010. More details to follow so keep clicking back for updates! |

Any dancer interested in walking in the Ottawa Christmas Parade come join us on Friday, Nov 27th. Wear your Winter Dance Festival costume, Adagio jackets, and/or something FESTIVE. We will be passing out candy and WDF postcards! Please meet promptly at 5:00pm at Adagio and we will walk to Durden Park together (north end of the bridge parking lot). The parade ends with the lighting ceremony in Washington Park. Please have your ride there waiting when we finish around 7pm. CANT WAIT!!! |
